LOM ART NOTEBOOK ILLUSTRATION AWARD 2016

2015 saw the launch of a brand new imprint from Michael O’Mara, LOM ART.  LOM ART showcases inspirational talent and innovative ideas from across the arts.  LOM ART has established itself as a leading publisher of inspirational stationery and to celebrate this, we are delighted to announce our second illustration award.

THE BRIEF:

We would like you to design a front and back cover for a book called The Creative Inspiration Notebook – a stationery product which will feature elements of illustration or doodling to whet the creative appetite combined with blank space for the user to explore their own creativity, with two sample spreads for what the notebook could look like inside. Originality is key.

The prize is your chance to win a mentoring lunch with a LOM ART illustrator, editor and designer, as well as £1,000 in prize money. The second-prize winner will receive a cash prize of £500. The third-prize winner will receive a cash prize of £250.

The LOM ART Notebook Illustration Award is an opportunity for illustrators of all ages. Non-UK residents are welcomed, but all entrants must be eligible to attend the mentoring lunch in London, if they win first prize.

We advise entrants that ideally they should have a reasonable standard of English so that, if they win the first prize, they are able to get the most out of their mentoring lunch.
There is no fee for entry, though the sender must prepay all shipping costs, insurance, customs duties and handling fees for all entries.

All shortlisted submissions must be posted in a single shipping container to:
