Ray Galton and Alan Simpson will sign copies of Masters of Sitcom at 5pm on Saturday 17th December at the Riverside Arts Centre, 59 Thames Street, Sunbury-on-Thames, MIddlesex TW16 5QF following the afternoon performance of Hancock at Christmas by the Old Hamptonians’ Dramatic Society. Galton and Simpson sign books at Steptoe performance on 7th December

Ray Galton and Alan Simpson will be attending the performance of Steptoe and Son (Christmas specials) at the Capitol Theatre, Horsham, on 7th December 2011. They will be signing copies of Masters of Sitcom, the new authorised biography and anthology of their work by Christopher Stevens. The performance begins at 7.30pm with the booksigning at around 9.15pm. Tickets are available from The Capitol, Horsham and further information is available from Waterstone’s Horsham.

Coach Trip’s International Tour Guide Brendan Sheerin will be signing copies of his autobiography My Life: A Coach Trip Adventure at Waterstone’s Southport, 367 Lord Street on Monday 12th December 2011 at 1pm. And you can catch him in panto from 8th December at Southport Theatre, too!

Our next Cringe night will be held on Tuesday 29th November at The George on the Strand. For anyone new to Cringe, we ask members of the public to bring along and read from their teenage diaries, with hilarious results. Anyone who would like to read needs to get in touch with Ana McLaughlin on ana.mclaughlin@mombooks.com, and new readers are always welcome! As usual, we will also be selling copies of the book at the event for the reduced price of £5.

An evening with Ray Galton, Alan Simpson and Christopher Stevens

Legendary comedy writers Ray Galton and Alan Simpson, who wrote Hancock’s Half Hour and Steptoe and Son among others, will be in conversation with their biographer Christopher Stevens at the Civic Hall, Stratford-upon-Avon on November 23rd 2011. MEERKAT ACTIVITY DAYS COMING TO A BOOKSHOP NEAR YOU!

We are supplying bookshops with our fantastic activity packs which tie in with two new books Where’s the Meerkat and Meerkat Mischief. The packs include puzzles, activities and colouring in sheets, pictures in which to find five cute meerkats and “I Found The Meerkat!” stickers. Brendan Sheerin’s Coach Trip book tour!

As the tour guide on Channel 4′s Coach Trip, Brendan Sheerin is used to coach travel. So he will be boarding a coach on Saturday 15th October in order to visit five bookshops in one day to sign copies of his book My Life: A Coach Trip Adventure and meet his fans.

Estimated timings are: 9.30am Waterstone’s Manchester, Trafford Centre; 11.30am Waterstone’s Liverpool One; 1.15pm Waterstone’s Southport; 3.15pm Waterstone’s Preston; 5pm Waterstone’s Lancaster.

Brendan Sheerin, the much loved tour guide on Channel 4′s hit show Coach Trip, will be at Waterstone’s Leeds on Thursday 13th October talking about his childhood in Leeds and his adventures on the coach and signing copies of his autobiography My Life: A Coach Trip Adventure. The event starts at 7pm and tickets are £3 from Waterstone’s in Leeds.
