M ichael O'Mara's Autumn has got off to a flying start thanks to many exciting events that have seen the public (as well as a few brave MOM representatives): swearing at Big Ben in the torrential rain, cooing at John Barrowman in Costco, Watford, and revealing their tragically embarrassing teenage diaries to a room full of eager pub goers.

C RINGE!
October saw the launch of our eagerly anticipated book Cringe, a terrifically embarrassing collection of genuine teenage diary entries, love letters and angsty poetry. To celebrate the launch, MOM books helped the fabulous editor of the collection, Sarah Brown, co-host a night of humiliation and hilarity at The George Pub on The Strand, which invited people to take the mic and expose their teenage selves in all their tragic glory. The night proved a massive success, with journalists from Grazia, Zoo, BBC World Service and The Press Association, along with some MOM staff and many willing members of the public, taking to the stage in front of a packed pub.

The next Cringe night will be held on 23rd November at 7.30pm in The George Pub, 213 The Strand, London. Please contact Sarah Brown (sb@cringebook.com) if you would like to share your own embarrassing teenage musings.
