Michael O'Mara 25th Anniversary Quiz
Congratulations to Jonathan Huddart at printers Clowes & Cox & Wyman who has won our 25th anniversary quiz, correctly answering 25 out of 30 questions on the highlights of O'Mara Books over the last quarter century. Jonathan wins a £200 voucher for London restaurant Le Caprice.
I n March we ran a competition to redesign the covers of two of our best loved titles, The Girls' Book: How To Be The Best At Everything and The Boys' Book: How To Be The Best At Everything. We were looking for a design that both retained the irresistible charm of our original covers, but brought the style bang up to date.
The response to the competition was fantastic and after much deliberation we are pleased to announce that we have awarded the prize of £300 to Christine Harrison, a second-year student at Nottingham Trent University. Her designs captured exactly how we hoped children would feel when they read the book, as though they could face anything (including sharks).
