From 12th June to 19th August 2018, artist founders of the LOM ART imprint, Lesley and Lucienne O’Mara, will be exhibiting their work at the Royal Academy 250th Summer Exhibition.

‘This summer, Grayson Perry RA coordinates the biggest, brightest and most colourful Summer Exhibition yet, in our 250th annual celebration of “art made now”’.

Lesley and Lucienne O’Mara founded the LOM ART imprint in 2015. Now in its third year, this list of artist-led, creative titles continues to showcase the brightest stars of illustration. It offers arty activity books, such as How to Draw People for the Artistically Anxious, The Van Gogh Activity Book and D is for Doodling, as well as quirky gift titles, including Paper World, a fun foray into 3D paper modelling.

Lesley O’Mara is a fine artist based in South London. Some of her paintings are for sale on Saatchi Art and in the Jane Newbery Gallery, Dulwich Village and she is also a member of South London Women Artists. Her works explore portraiture and anthropomorphism. She can be found online at: www.lesleyomara.com.

Her daughter, Lucienne O’Mara, graduated from City & Guilds of London Art School in 2011. She has exhibited in numerous locations around London, including The Brockett Gallery in Vauxhall. Her most recent work explores the ideas around personal identity and its fluid and unfixed nature. She can be found online at: lucienneomara.co.uk.
