Dr Mateo Sanchez is a genetic engineer and chemical biologist with a PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Santiago de Compostela. He currently has his own laboratory at Cambridge University, which focuses on researching age-related DNA repair mechanisms and possible future treatments for age-related diseases such as Alzheimer’s and dementia.
