If you would like to submit a manuscript or art for publication
We are always open to hearing about new and wonderful non-fiction ideas from authors, compilers and illustrators. However, before you submit your idea or art to Michael O’Mara Books, please familiarise yourself with our titles as this will save time and effort on both sides. Unfortunately, we do not accept fiction, poetry, unsolicited children’s submissions or unsolicited narrative non-fiction (including memoir) submissions.
Synopses and sample text are preferred to full typescripts and should be sent by email only to the address below. We do not accept postal submissions and any sent will not be returned. We cannot guarantee a reply to every submission we receive.

Work experience enquiries
We offer paid internship placements (LLW) ahead of London Book Fair and Frankfurt Book Fair. These placements are usually for two weeks, mostly working with our busy reception and sales support team, but with opportunities to spend time in editorial and publicity departments.
