Imogen Currell-Williams

Imogen Currell-Williams is a children’s book editor based in London. She loves to create books that will excite children and spark their imaginations. She recently commissioned Rise Up: Ordinary Kids With Extraordinary Stories, which won the Blue Peter Book Award 2020.

About the Illustrator:

Sarah Long

Sarah grew up and continues to live in Seaford, East Sussex. Graduating in 2004 with her illustration degree from Cambridge School of Art she began her career as an in-house illustrator for Caroline Gardner. After finding her feet she wanted to move on from the confines of the square card and stepped into a new creative sector at House of Disaster designing complete ranges of giftware for in-house collections and licensees The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Moomins. After nearly 10 years in giftware and accessories, Sarah returned to greetings cards at Hammond Gower before going freelance in 2019 and joining the Bright Agency. Her strong, playful illustrations that use eye-catching colour palettes have insured the steady growth of her cliental list; including Harper Collins, DK, Klarna, Penguin Random House, Raspberry Books and more.
