Tom Jackson

Tom Jackson is a writer with a science degree from Bristol University, in the United Kingdom. He has authored books for children on a number of scientific topics, from space to machines to physics to the periodic table. He was shortlisted for the 2024 Royal Society’s Young People’s Book Prize, which aims to promote literacy in young people and inspire them to read about science.

About the Illustrator:

Irma Ruggiero

Irma Ruggiero is an Italian illustrator and author. She graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples with an illustrated project-book for visually impaired children. She later graduated in Illustration at the Italian School of Comics. She enjoys writing and has lots of notebooks spread throughout the house where she notes stories, thoughts and various doodles.
