Lauren Farnsworth lives on the Essex coast and has worked in publishing for over 15 years, after graduating from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. Lauren is an Editorial Director and illustrator at Buster Books in Clapham. She has worked on a variety of highly successful books, including the Colourtronic series, which has been published in 13 languages and has sold over 67,800 copies in the UK.
Sarah Wade is a freelance designer and illustrator based in East Anglia. With more than 50 children’s titles in publication, her illustrations are enjoyed by children around the world. She finds inspiration from family forest walks, trips visiting relations in Italy, outings to the local public gardens and beautifully illustrated botanical encyclopaedias.
Chelen is an illustrator and a lettering artist based in Madrid, Spain. Painting and lettering are her passions and playing with letterpress type is her hobby. She is also addicted to travelling, eating sunflower seeds and buying new books. She has worked for numerous publishers including Penguin Random House, Scholastic and Hachette.
John Woodcock was born in Surrey and, after working in a large London advertising agency after leaving school, he decided to further his art education by studying for a degree in graphic design at Norwich School of Art. After graduating, John moved back to London to work as a freelance illustrator. John has worked for many UK and international publishers, as well as designers and ad agencies around the world. He lives in Suffolk with his wife, two dogs and a cat and still enjoys the excitement and challenge of being a freelancer.
