Frances Evans

Frances studied English Literature at UCL and Cambridge and now works as a children’s editor and writer in London. She enjoys working across a range of non-fiction subjects for kids – from animals, space and science experiments to unicorns, origami and puzzles.

About the Illustrator:

Berta Maluenda

Berta is a Spanish illustrator living in her hometown, Zaragoza. She has a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art, Master’s Degree in Drawing and Video Creation from the University of Granada and a Postgraduate Degree in Children’s Illustration that she studied in Barcelona. In her illustrations she gives importance to humour and the charm of the everyday, also to the poetic and the unexpected. She has illustrated children’s magazines as well as books. You can also see her at art fairs in Madrid, Barcelona and Zaragoza.
