Melanie Grimshaw-Smith is the author of the popular craft book ’The Toilet Roll Activity Book' as well as other children's craft publication, 'Make it'. From a young age Melanie has obsessed with creating beautiful new things from everyday materials. Following a degree in Visual Communication' in Kent, she has continued this love throughout her career, teaching textiles at prep school level and running the successful children's holiday craft club, 'Make Glue Stitch'. Living in Surrey with her husband, toddler son and tabby cat, Melanie's mid-century home and beloved garden studio is packed with craft items and miscellaneous bits and bobs awaiting transformation! In the meantime home provides an exciting playground for her equally 'crafty' little boy.
