Jane Ryder-Gray was born in Manchester and lived in the North West of England until she moved to Cardiff to study Surface Pattern Design. Here she won an RSA design award. Growing up, her favourite past time was drawing and painting and she has loved 1950’s design since a young age, Lucienne Day being one of her favourite designers of the time. Her work, of which she loves florals, is mostly hand drawn and then finished off in Photoshop. She now lives in a small town in south Wales called Pontyclun. When she is not designing she love to spend time walking and exploring the Welsh coastline and local countryside with her husband and 2 children, Ella and Finn.
