Katie Abey is an illustrator of sarcastic, sassy and colourful characters and she is based in Derbyshire. With over 70 books under her belt, she brings a humorous twist to her work that's both eye-catching and relatable. Armed with a BA Hons in Graphic Design and a never-ending well of quirky ideas, she sketches out roughs in her notepad before bringing them to life with vibrant colours. In 2024, she scooped up a prestigious Laugh Out Loud Book Award (The Lollies) for her illustrations in How to Survive Time Travel.
