Leanne Daphne

Leanne Daphne is a UK-based illustrator and world-builder who graduated from Gray’s School of Art, Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, with a BA (Hons) in Communication Design/Illustration in 2021. Her work has since been published in children’s books and magazines, including The Phoenix Comic. Inspired by the natural world and the imaginative realms of fantasy and science fiction, Daphne creates richly detailed landscapes, distinctive characters, and fantastical creatures that tell immersive visual stories. In 2020 she was awarded the Kelpies Prize for Illustration, an achievement that continues to inspire her evolving creative practice.
