Tim Collins is originally from Manchester, but now lives near Oxford. Tim worked in advertising before turning his talents to writing, where he specializes in humorous fiction for children. He is the author of the international best-selling series: Diary of a Wimpy Vampire, Dorkius Maximus, Traitors and Sherlock Bones. His books have been translated into over 30 languages and he has won numerous awards in the UK and Germany, including the Manchester Fiction City award and the Lincolnshire Young People's Book Award.
