Ned Hartley writes comics and books for children. You can read his work in the Beano comic every week. Ned has written lots of books including the best-selling Marvel Origins: Spider-Man, The Ladybird Big Book of Dead Things, Together We Can, Great Lives: Albert Einstein, Marvel: the Science of Superheroes, the Marvel Museum and loads more, many of them about superheroes and comics. He's also written comics for 2000AD, Monster Fun and Wallace & Gromit Comics. He lives in London with his wife and two children.

Born in 1976 in Sabadell, a city near Barcelona (Spain), Alex Lopez has over 15 years of experience as a professional illustrator. His work and books have been published in many countries including USA, UK, France, Belgium, Spain, Italy and Turkey. Alex has also created illustrations for educational books, marketing and video games, mostly for children and teenagers. Alex is often asked what his secret is. His answer is simple: listening to music and eating chocolate.
