Debasish Sarma is an award-winning illustrator with a Master’s degree in Fine Arts, specialisation in Illustration, from Maharaja Sayajirao University. With over 12 years of experience in the creative industry, he has illustrated more than 50 books for leading publishers throughout India, United States, and the United Kingdom.
His distinctive visual style combines traditional techniques with digital media, bringing together expressive characters, vibrant colours, rich textures, and a strong sense of storytelling. His illustrations have received several accolades, including the Peek A Book Children’s Book Award and the Mom’s Choice Award. His work has also been nominated for the Jarul Book Award. In addition to his book illustration work, He is associated with the New York–based Bavual Magazine as an illustrator.
