Dr Jade Scott is a historian specializing in Mary Queen of Scots and an expert on her letters. She is a lecturer in historical linguistics at the University of Glasgow and an associate fellow of the Royal Historical Society, researching early modern Scottish women and their correspondence. Fascinated by Mary her entire life, Jade was reached out to by George Lasry of the DECRYPT Project to consult on the translations of Mary’s newly decoded letters, providing key contextual details and context on linguistic features. She lives in Glasgow.

Dr Sarah-Louise Miller is an historian, author and media consultant, specializing in Second World War history. She is a lecturer at the Defence Studies Department, King’s College London, and a visiting scholar at the University of Oxford. She is the author of The Women Behind the Few (Biteback) and has worked in both television and radio with the BBC, Channel Four, ITV, Channel 5 and Sky History. She has also appeared on BBC History Extra, Dan Snow’s History Hit podcast and the We Have Ways of Making You Talk podcast with Al Murray and James Holland, along with various other productions.

Anna Stead is an illustrator based in the beautiful North Cotswolds. She draws inspiration from nature, legend, history, folklore, literature, folk art and the mythic arts. She has a background in medieval studies and is a lover of fantasy literature. She can be found with a cat in her lap, playing video games or sketching on her iPad whenever she gets a chance.

Former Hallmark artist for 27 years and the creator of Asteroid Andy, Pedro is the author and illustrator of Mexikid A Graphic Memoir from Dial Penguin.

Pedro also chronicles his life growing up Mexican American online in a series called Mexikid Stories (@Mexikidstories, instagram, Facebook and Gocomics.com)

Low Zi Rong is the resident character designer at Collateral Damage Studios, a Singapore-based illustration studio specializing in manga art.
